Airing of The Quilts

For years the tradition of airing out your quilts happens to ring in the warm weather. The beautiful displays would be shown on porches for all to see. As years went by this tradition is not very widely seen among towns and cities. However, Hamilton Missouri continues this beautiful tradition.

Each year in August the event 'Airing of The Quilts' is a celebration to behold. Hundreds of quilts are put on display through out the town. Shops, churches and households come together to show these beautiful masterpieces.

Join us August 14th and 15th for this beautiful event! Tickets are only $15 a person for the two day event. It will allow you to see the museum, participate in activities and more.
