Airing of the Quilts
For years the tradition of airing out quilts was used to welcome the warm weather in a festive celebration. Beautiful displays would be shown on porches for all to see. As years went by observing this tradition became more and more rare among towns and cities, but for the Missouri Quilt Museum in Hamilton, Missouri, Airing of the Quilts is an annual event to remember.
Each year in August the festival is a celebration to behold. Hundreds of quilts are put on display through out the town. Shops, churches and households come together to showcase beautiful masterpieces. Experiences are gained. Memories are made.
Join us August 14th and 15th for this beautiful event! Tickets are only $15 a person for both days. Airing of the Quilts tickets grant you access to see the museum, participate in activities, visit all locations throughout the town, and more.
