Quilt Your Quilt
This one-on-one class is a hands-on quilting experience doing freehand quilting on a longarm.
Is your quilt top ready to be quilted? We will help you quilt it using a Gammill non-computerized longarm quilting
machine. Our instructor will help you load your quilt, batting and backing onto the frame and guide you through the
entire process. A variety of freehand patterns will be demonstrated, or Pantograph patterns are available. 80/20 Cotton
Poly batting is available for purchase or you can provide your own batting. Many thread colors are available.
If you are contemplating the purchase of a quilt machine or just want hands-on participation in the quilting process, this
is the class for you.
Quilt top should be neatly pressed and free of holes and open seams.
Buttons and embellishments should be added after quilting.
Backing should be 8” wider and 8” longer than the quilt top.
